Frondiz content management system

frondiz-header.png

Frondiz is a content management system designed from the ground-up by me. It is based on PHP and MySQL.

The purpose of yet another content management system was to build something that is so simple to use that anyone with a little internet experience can grasp it. It was designed primarily for community organisations like youth groups, churches etc.

Some of the features of Frondiz are listed here:

  • Takes seconds to setup a new site (there is nothing to install as it all runs from the same single installation).
  • Simply pick a template from the ones we have made available, or design your own using our simple templating system.
  • Use your own domain name, or if you dont have one then use ours.
  • Basic website is free, only pay if you want to use one of the addons (addons are priced differently depending on their resource usage).
  • RSS feeds can be generated for various features.

Some of the addons available are:

  • Articles.
  • Anonymous question/answer thing (AskMe).
  • Calendar of events.
  • Contact form (with CAPTCHA).
  • Downloads system.
  • Feed reader (to display RSS/Atom feeds on your site).
  • Flickr gallery viewer (displays photos from your Flickr account).
  • Forums.
  • Links.
  • Polls.
  • Private messaging.
