Frondiz is a content management system designed from the ground-up by me. It is based on PHP and MySQL.
The purpose of yet another content management system was to build something that is so simple to use that anyone with a little internet experience can grasp it. It was designed primarily for community organisations like youth groups, churches etc.
Some of the features of Frondiz are listed here:
- Takes seconds to setup a new site (there is nothing to install as it all runs from the same single installation).
- Simply pick a template from the ones we have made available, or design your own using our simple templating system.
- Use your own domain name, or if you dont have one then use ours.
- Basic website is free, only pay if you want to use one of the addons (addons are priced differently depending on their resource usage).
- RSS feeds can be generated for various features.

- Articles.
- Anonymous question/answer thing (AskMe).
- Calendar of events.
- Contact form (with CAPTCHA).
- Downloads system.
- Feed reader (to display RSS/Atom feeds on your site).
- Flickr gallery viewer (displays photos from your Flickr account).
- Forums.
- Links.
- Polls.
- Private messaging.
